| Though the Sony is at the cheaper end of the Sat Nav market it's certainly not a down-at-heel product. The device has a 3.5in LCD screen that's touch sensitive and it's so easy to use you'll be up and running within minutes. (Compare Prices) |

The screen can also automatically adjust to the ambient light conditions so you'll always have the best possible view of the screen.
The 512MB memory is enough to keep a good array of maps and information while you're on the go and the NV-U70T can be updated with newer maps or software when it's linked to a PC.
Construction is very good with a robust feel and a design that reflects Sony's brand reputation. The speaker on the Sony is particularly clear which makes listening for turning instructions that bit easier. You can also hook the NV-U70T in to the Traffic Message Channel so it can warn you of any traffic jams on your intended route.
As this is a cheaper model it doesn't support full postcode searches but this is a small price to pay for such a well-designed and speedily operated GPS device. If you're on a budget then the Sony should be right up your street. (Compare Prices) |
